He is easily the best British promoter. If I am a boxer in Britain I would want to be promoted by Frank :yep
Better value? Boxnation - 10 pounds subscription + 10 pounds registration fee (If you subscribe on 6th April): Zou Shiming vs Eleazar Valenzuela Brian Viloria vs Juan Francisco Estrada (WBO/WBA world titles) Roman Martinez vs Diego Magdaleno (WBO world title) Yaqub Kareem vs Paul Butler (Commonwealth title) Nonito Donaire vs Guillermo Rigondeaux (WBA/WBO world titles) Nathan Cleverly vs Robin Krasniqi (WBO world title) Dereck Chisora vs Andrej Pala Liam Walsh vs Scott Harrison Ovill McKenzie vs Enzo Maccarinelli Austin Trout vs Saul Alvarez (WBA/WBC world titles) Amir Khan vs Julio Diaz Deontay Wilder vs Audley Harrison Haroon Khan/Anthony Agogo's debuts Sergio Martinez vs Martin Murray (WBC world title) Floyd Mayweather vs Robert Guerrero (WBC world title) Daniel Ponce De Leon vs Abner Mares (WBC world title) SKY - 14.95 Carl Froch vs Mikkel Kessler (IBF/WBA world titles) George Groves vs TBA
It's clearly boxnation but I think we've covered this before, Froch/Kessler wouldn't happen without ppv, it's up to you whether you purchase it.
Fast Eddie and Sky should be embarrassed . If Sky were willing to invest some money into boxing to give boxing subscribers something worthwhile Froch Kessler could have been made without ppv . Bruno Lewis, Bruno McCall , Naz Robinson and various Eubank fights were made on Sky without ppv. Haye v Enzo and Calzaghe Kessler ( a fight in front of a bigger crowd with both fighters undefeated ) were on Setanta without ppv. Sky want to milk boxing fans at no risk to itself and Fast Eddie would like to do the same.
You could also mention that the first few months of this year were completely **** poor from Boxnations point of view.
That original Magnificent 7 show was absolutely fantastic, by far the most worthwhile PPV I've ever bought. Frank can definitely put on a great show when e wants to. I think it would be a shame if he lost all his fighters. Certainly Boxnation is proving to be worth the money even without the domestic stuff so if he can add a few more decent shows of his own, like the Cleverly bill looks to be, then it should thrive with boxing fans.
