It did sell out. Give or take the odd ticket.

Where is this nonsense coming from?

they're not facts though are they? if its a fact, you'll be able to provide proof that Hearn hands tickets over to StubHub to sell on for well over face value. Look at Eubank/Groves fight, nothing to do with Matchroom, no connection to StubHub, yet there are hundreds of tickets on for over face value

Ironically enough, BJS vs Lemiux tickets are up on stub hub, hmmmmm? If it is such a big deal to Frank Warren you would have imagined that he would have made it clear to Golden Boy how "unethical" it is.

Give or take the odd ticket, my point exactly it never sold out. Up until this bill Carl sold out Belfast in a day for his last half a dozen fights there including his cancelled bill v Gonzales but then with Frank as you say there were tickets unsold and that's with a really strong bill including another Belfast man in a world title fight.

you'd have to be pretty stupid not to see the blatent links between st*bh*b and matchr**m/s*y.

i still dont understand what loopholes they are 'utilizing' to get away with it. surely this is all totally illegal.

section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994 bans football ticket touting.

but i understand the current legislation for online scalpers such as SH come from THE CONSUMER RIGHTS ACT 2015 which should force secondary ticketing sites to reveal the identity of their sellers. but this is not enforced. that must be how they are getting away with it i guess. i am happy to be proven wrong on these points as i am no expert.

but until people stop gormlessly handing over daft money to these enterprises it isnt going to stop.

Franks correct ,, It needs sorting , the fans are having the **** took out of them .. Look its feasble that a show can sell out in 20-30 minuites if the system is all working , Its also perfectly logical that Mr A buys 4 tickets wants to keep 2 and sell 2 get his money back or near has , so you will have them tickets on Ebay , stub hub or whatever , but like Frank said they are numbered and its known who bought them , But when section c rows A-Z , seats 1-50 are ALL available something is going on ,, Like Frank said they sell and another lot come up .

One way to stop it is simple , most pay by credit card , look at the tickets see who bought them and let the computer coss reference them , if there selling for more than say 10% over the odds ban all future sales to that credit card . In Australia they have whats called a Major event , where its illigal to sell these events for more than 10% but the promoter would have to ask for it to be declared a major event .

AAnother way to stop it would be for the tax man to get involved , see who the block sellers are and if its Matchroom supplying tickets , hit them where it hurts in the pockets . Frank was correct it certainly seems like someone in the know , are supplying , where else would they get that many tickets

Mate, this is just nonsense. This is like saying AJ- Klitschko wasn’t a sell out because there wasn’t quite 80k in the arena. Just accept it was a successful night which contradicts what Eddie was saying. P

    Warren & Hearn = Kettle & Black

As if one is more saintly than the other!!!!! FFS little boys stop digging at each other cos it’s getting predictable and boring now.

They’re both money orientated melts and both have shafted fans and boxers in the past but we all still buy tickets to watch good fights so stop chatting sheet about each other and get on with promoting!

Boxing prices in general need dropping. Yes your AJ fights are going to go for astronomical fees but the others aren’t selling out.

Matchrooms Liverpool card - poor attendance.

Warrens Newcastle card - poor attendance.

The boys are back in town - 2 world title fights and 2 European title fights and one of the hottest prospects in Britain fighting on the bill. Couldn’t sell out a 7k capacity stadium.

It can only be because of the ticket prices. These lesser shows are still trying to charge £500 for a floor seat or £100-200 for a decent stand one.

These shows should be starting at about £30 and rising to about £150 for a vip/floor seat with concessions for juniors.

The boys are back in town I don’t include in the above as that was a big card for Frank but it was still overpriced. Lower them slightly and get it packed out. Get kids in there cheap and get the new generation hooked.

The kids tickets are the biggest issue, or more to the fact you can't get a kids ticket. There all adult prices tickets. As you say it helps get them hooked just the same as at football and other sports if their used to going all the time as kids much more likely to go regularly as adults.

I don't see how you can rip into matchroom/stubhub and claim stubhub shouldn't be sponsoring matchroom events but then claim you are interested in signing AJ when AJ is sponsored by stubhub.

Those morals soon go out of the window when there is money to be made Frank.

The issue with StubHub is the fact that lots of tickets are available on there at the same time or almost immediately after they go on sale through the official channels. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that Eddie slips them a load to sell at inflated prices, he's a Hearn ffs.

Frank is a very bitter old man. He's too old and miserable to still be in the boxing game he should really have passed it on to his sons now but he obviously doesn't have much faith in them.
