totally agree i was at Framptons fight at the Titanic quarter when he won his first world title, the atmosphere was great, we had people from the Shankill/Tigers Bay area inviting us back to house parties and everything. Very inclusive..................i still wouldnt go mind you, i like having full knees as for tonights fight, it pains me to say it but Carl has been woeful since he left the Mcguigans, Moore is a poor mans Joe Gallagher, and thats not something you'd want to be known as in this game.
Hope Carl retires and does not end up with numerous defeats like Ricky Burns who had a great legacy until he broke his jaw. This is not a pleasant watch even though he should easily win this fight.
Frampton should have retired after Warrington. I genuinely think he’s only in it for the £ now. And Conlan in no way ‘represents all of Ireland’ so BT can knock that load of Michael Knight on the head. He nailed his colours to the mast with his IRA entrance song, then the faux ignorance saying he didn’t associate it with those lyrics.
It’s over for Frampton - he’s shot to bits. I hope he fcuks the Herring fight off- he will get dismantled.
Well being objective and comparing cards, Eh Day wiped the floor with Frank this weekend in terms of entertainment.
I wouldn't be over-critical of Frampton. Ring rusty and fighting at a huge weight. He's very dangerous with the body attack Moore has implemented into his game. Jury still out on Conlan. I don't know what he weighed tonight but I noticed previously he was cutting too much. Hope Frampton gets one more world title fight soon.
Haven't watched the card but Frampton was one of my favourite fighters to watch 3-5 years ago. Like Jurgen said, hate for him to carry on longer then required. Think he will give a title shot one more go, if he loses he will call it a day imo. I like Jamie Moore but not sold on him yet as a trainer. Frampton was a quality boxer under Shane, who I think is a decent trainer.
McCann very impressive, him Paddy Donovan and Felix Cash are 3 Irish traveller lads who have big futures going on this weekends showing.
