My suspicions were correct, Hamzah being 6"3 is struggling at the 160 limit which kind of explains his average performance Vs Adamas..

Hamzah will be back out in June/July at 168 where we will see his power and speed will hopefully return just his all round energy which was lacking vs Adamas.. I've always said we will see the best of him at his more natural weight of 168 and even 175 in not so distant future..

He was fortunate enough to receive a generous draw against someone like Adames. Good fighter, albeit not the best fighter at his weight class. Now Sheeraz after being billed as the best middleweight on the planet, will flee with his tail between his legs. Not a good look at all. This won't get the respect of his future peers at 168.

His frame looks better suited to LHW. Put him on the "James Toney All Protein BBQ" diet.

Canelo will be excited to pick his latest cherry-pick.

The thought of Canelo V Sheeraz being a mismatch is an understatement.

Whilst I like Sheeraz, I hate it when fighters who were massive for the weight do this or were like Haney massive weight bullies who forged careers feasting on leprechauns half their size whose success was primarily due to their size and huge weight advantage.

Not accusing Sheeraz of doing this here but they can't have it both ways and use difficulties making weight excuses to play the victim as soon as they lose, arguably lose, or really struggle in a fight. They did this with Haney at the pre-fight presser for the Times Square card the other day.

Hopefully this means Adames will face Janibek now

Dude is tall enough to be a solid heavyweight, but boils himself down as much as possible to gain an advantage. He started his career at 154

He will outgrow 168 soon enough too.

Are we supposed to forget the fact that Adames got gifts against not just Derevyanchenko, but Gausha as well? They weren't handed sympathy title shots after they got screwed against him. In two fights that were pretty easy to score as well, just like his match against Sheeraz, which was correctly scored a draw. You can't land **** all for four rounds and then get outworked in the last two and expect to win. He only has himself to blame.

We don't forget that, but we do remember how shallow the MW division is.

All we have is Janibek, Adames and Lara. Who else is there for Janibek to fight?

Yeah, it's crap division at this point, but I'd still much rather see Lara get a shot than a hack like Adames.

All I'm hearing is "Reasons We Want to See Adames Get Blitzed by Alimkhanuly for 1000, Alex"

Sometimes I think in Jeopardy terms. I don't know why.
