He just out stayed his his welcome at 160 .. word is he came into camp 205lbs .. that sort of cut is unhealthy and dangerous..

Yes I put his last poor performance down to being weight drained at 160 and before this last fight he had looked good so and one off bad performance is not the end of the world.

We will see how he looks at 168..

I agree with you, the problem also is when you stay at weight where you know possibly you will outgrow or struggle to make soon healthy, but then your ranking in the division puts you No.1 so you the stick around for your mandatories ect ..

My point being they should of moved his weight up sooner .. even at 168 Hamzah will be bigger that most , probs accept Diego Pacheco lol who probs same size , but I also agree Hamzah was a weight bully at 160 and that back fired in his last fight ..

Cutting down from 205lbs at start of the camp is wild..

    Yeah I get that

I don't know how much weight he was rehydrating after weigh ins and my definition of a weight bully is someone who is massive for the weight and rehydrates loads of weight. So for example I know Haney was rehydrating 20-25lbs and he looked like a completely different species on the scales. Sheeraz, unless he was rehydrating a ton of weight too, might be more of a size bully because he has the dimensions of a CW.

One thing I have noticed though is some of these tall fighters can rehydrate a ton of weight and for some strange reason not look like a walking cadaver on the scales.

UFC fighter Alex Pereira who was the MW champ looks much noticeably bigger than the LHWs he's fought and defended his LHW belt against. The UFC LHW limit is 205lbs and he weighs 230 on fight night. Usually when someone is rehydrating that much weight they look like death on the scales

I get you .. I don't really know how much he was rehydrating back to but on fight nights he always looked a weight class higher lol

He came into this last camp at 205lbs so I guess that's his walking around weight , so a 45lbs cut is quite extreme..

I think moving up will definitely help him .. he has a massive frame too..

As someone that I had an interest in, I was woefully disappointed in his performance against a raw fighter alike Adamas. I believe I was definitely wrong about him, buddy didn't even have a 2nd gear.

I don't think he's going to do well at 168. He doesn't have the skills or the boxing IQ to excel at the top level, especially at 168, where guys are physically bigger and stronger.

He had a chance to beat Adames and he didn't take it. If he pushed himself a little bit more, take a little bit more risk, he would have won. Instead, he just let Adames outwork him.

The 2nd gear was not there because he struggling at the weight .. never seen him like that .. it's like his body was not responding.. his output was shocking low ..

Well if he's walking around at 45lbs heavier than his fighting weight he's got to be rehydrating a lot of weight.

I would like to see what kind of shape he's in at that weight but if you look at someone like Tommy Hearns, who obviously has a huge frame, he fought as high as CW weighing 191lbs, an in shape 191lbs. From 147 to a lean in shape 191lbs. Crazy!

There are a host of fighters at 168 who would knock Sheeraz into next week.

Going up in weight will make him give away a lof ot the advantage he has right now. No fighter with his characteristics improves when he goes up in weight. Rey Vargas, Fundora... they go up and they are not half as good as they were while bullying with their freak height and reach. Sheeraz's IQ looks specially low too, and this doesnt help, tbh.
