As I say my good man, I remember seeing the Cowdell fight. Must have been on live at the time, otherwise I wouldnt have seen it! Its crazy, but at the time of watching those fights, I have no idea why I was watching them, or who I was watching them with!

But, they must have made a good impression as I have been a boxing fan ever since.

 

Frank has done some terrible mismatches, but he pays his fighters well and seems to look after them well.

at the time yes, but Wicky 'The Conman' 'Atton then proceded to handpick turkeys that stumbled across belts and declared himself an 'x times world champion' and included in that a belt belonging to a shed in Torquay, amongst others.

 

He still makes good fights more than the other British promotors though. He's stepping Khan up pretty fast, he didn't step Ricky up till his 38th fight.
