Can you please include a summary of what he said? Forty freaking minutes of a guy talking? SMFH.

So the narrative that Hearn has been spinning is that as part of the 50 million offer Frank Warren wanted to put Joshua v Wilder on BT and therefore the 50 million offer was not legit.

Frank destroyed him by laying out the facts:
    • Shelly Finkel asked Frank Warren how much BT would pay for the fight to get an estimate of what the fight would be worth in the UK. This was NOT a direct intent to sell the fight to BT, they wanted a "quote" to work out how much of the 50 million could be generated from the UK market. They might still have ended up selling the fight to Sky sports.
    • The offer was 50 million for the rights world wide to the fight. How would Eddie think it would be 50 million and then Matchroom still get to keep the UK Sky money too? Makes no sense.
    • Joshua had said he would fight Wilder for 50 million ANY PLACE ANY TIME ANY WHERE. i.e. ANY NETWORK. He never said "I'll fight Wilder for 50 million only on Sky SPorts"
    • Finally as a nail in the coffin, Frank destroys Hearns claim that Joshua cant fight on another network other than Sky Sports. What happens if he loses a purse bid? He HAS to fight wherever the winners of the purse bid choose on their network. There is no such thing as an exclusive deal in boxing.
    @CutThroatFade might appreciate this

and @OpinionOfACasual will be on suicide watch

It’s looks even worse when you factor in the fact frank is letting billy joe fight on sky and dazn due to it being such a great pay day it will be for his fighter, but like a certain 50 mill up front plus 50% of all revenue would be.

    • He's recently been reappraising some of his long held opinions.
    • Come to the conclusion that he's misjudged Eddie Hearn
    • Wants to put all the silliness behind them and join forces in the best interests of British boxing
    • Admitted that fury is unlikely to last 3 rounds
    • Found yardes new opponent via a lucky encounter with a broken down refuse truck crew

The whole Fury-Wilder thing is weird. I'm not confident the fight happens either. They said an announcement was coming next week (after Fury's fight w/ that guy that I think is a boxer... maybe?).

How about a a Wilder v Fury confirmation?

Did Warren explain why the date he said 3 weeks ago was BS?

Its getting worse than kids arguing at playschool. None of this matters anyway. People have either picked a side or dont care about all the dealings and nothings changing now. Give it 2 or 3 days and Hearn will be back on IFL breaking down what Warren has said and then Warren will be back breaking that down.

This happens all the time in boxing. Fighters, managers, promoters all estimate dates, venues and fights but in the complex world of boxing, things become protracted.

Warren is trying to give the fans an incredible fight, he doesn’t need to explain anything if and until the fight negotiations collapse.

Everything is right up until the last point. There is such a thing as an exclusive contract. Ask any manager in boxing. In fact Steve Goodwin (Boxing manager) even confirmed this. Broadcasters in a lot of cases have exclusive contracts with fighters.

    Danny Jacobs with HBO.
    Canelo with HBO.
    AJ with Sky.

    The list goes on.
