"Shelly Finkel asked Frank Warren how much BT would pay for the fight to get an estimate of what the fight would be worth in the UK. This was NOT a direct intent to sell the fight to BT, they wanted a "quote" to work out how much of the 50 million could be generated from the UK market. They might still have ended up selling the fight to Sky sports."

To 'Estimate what the fight would be worth in the UK' you need figures from Anthony Joshua fights do you not?

With the greatest respect, BT Sport can only base 'their' estimate on Frampton/Flanagan fights......

Is that really a good and accurate yardstick?

If the fight was going to be on BT Sport they'd have to pay Joshua far more than $50,000,000.

No, pathetic is believing a man like Warren, who has 0 impact on whether Joshua v Wilder happens.

In fact, it only makes it less likely when he spouts this rubbish.

    Hearn’s cast offs...

That’s why Hearn took on Chisora and Buglioni... even Bellew, Cleverly and Burns were “cast offs” from Warren. Tommy Langford was “cast off” after he was shagged in the ring by my g AK and now he’s propping up Amir’s undercard for Matchroom on Saturday.

You’re a complete embarrassment. Acting like you are Hearn himself, what kind of boxing fan takes delight in a signing by one promoter? Not even a signing as such, a co-promotional deal. Sad *****. Warren is a multimillionaire boxing legend, I’m sure he doesn’t need to be told what his place is by some sad virgin on an Internet forum.

You ******ed ****, Finkel has engaged with Warren for independent benchmarking purposes to add some substance to his financial offer. He has engaged with a British promoter who has greater knowledge of the British market, a man who was putting PPVs on while Eddie was still wanking into socks in his dad’s mansion. He engaged with Warren because he was directly negotiating with Hearn. He needed an independent source. The info from Warren isn’t supposed to be accurate. It’s the most informed view he could get without asking Hearn which would be futile because he is involved in the negotiations.

    Low IQ *****.

Yeah maybe, I wouldn't know, I'm not involved in negotiations.

It's just strange, it was suppose to be announced nearly 3 weeks ago and we've had nothing except more Hearn and Joshua insults.. I just don't understand it.

There is still a little bit of my head that thinks this will happen but not until early next year.

I believe It should be early next year, I think Wilder should smash Breazeale and get his mandatory out of the way and Fury should fight on the same bill against better opposition, that promotes and sells the fight.

Fury will have had another fight and that should kill any accusations that Fury isn't ready and reinforces any Wilder win.

I think they have done this backwards, they have rushed it and it in my opinion all this could have been done much better.

The same man, who allowed the silver spoon boy to come in, because he done so crap when he had the original Sky Deal. I despise Hearn, but are you forgetting the shi*e Warren used to put on Sky ? Like Khan-Prescott

"Benchmarking purposes". Haha you talk like a typical knuckledragger. Matchroom/Hearn cannot allow that fight to be on BT Sport under any circumstance. Do you understand that. He is Sky's Flagship Fighter and it's because of Sky, Eddie Hearn and his dad's snooker company is where it is.

Do you see Finkle offering Wilder-Fury to Sky for a "benchmark". Your a demented man with anger issues, your avatar explains a lot to me.

Fury must think boxing fans are all morons if we are to believe that he can actually beat Wilder, let alone knocking him out like he said he would.
