An Open Letter To Frank Warren And Queensberry
    dear frank,
first of all, i'd like to thank you for putting on the filip hrgovic/moses itauma fight..
after hrgovic defeated david allen, he mentioned that a condition of his signing to queensberry was that he would fight moses itauma..
no doubt you signed him up to be a punching bag for your boy moses, thinking that he's slow, plodding and robotic..
not long after the fight was made, you paid frank sanchez step aside money, therefore making the fight an IBF title fight..
hrgovic has been calling names out since early on in his career, he's probably the only one who's been calling out anyone..
thanks for making this fight into a title fight thereby making hrgovic's path to a title easier, as he's been screwed left right and center by promoters..
by thinking you man (itauma) was going to have it easy, and the result of the fight, you mr warren by your deeds and actions has set off a chain reaction in the boxing world..
i want to thank you for sending people crazy, pulling their hair out and asking where did it all go wrong for itauma..
by your actions, mr warren, you and queensberry have been left with egg on your faces..
as a croatian from australia, i thank you for pulling strings to turn this fight into a world title fight, and by your actions you have given filip hrgovic the chance and opportunity to be the first ever world heavyweight champion from croatia..
as it turned out, it was a great day for filip hrgovic
a great day for croatian boxing
    a great day for croatia
a great day for croatians in croatia and the diaspora..
leading up to the fight, there were billboards and signs on busses promoting the fight with huge pictures of itauma and a little thumbnail picture of hrgovic..
the fight was promoted as witness history
would you be so kind to replace those billboards and pictures on buses with a bigger picture of the new IBF heavyweight champioon of the world..
    history was made!!!!
    p.s or possibly pms frank..
you were a tad upset at the end of the 6th round and you got up off your chair and walked to itauma's corner telling them to slow it down..
why was francis warren continually twitching during interviews before the fight???
    once again..
    thank you
you've really made an impact in the boxing world
    best regards

i don't think that it's been mentioned anywhere..
frank warren is moses itauma's promoter
francis warren (frank warren's son) is moses itauma's manager
isn't that a conflict of interest???
the manager should be looking out for the best interest of his fighter, whereas the promoter looks out for himself
    ala don and carl king
thought i'd add this to this thread, since it's titled
    'frank warren failed moses itauma''

The one thing to be said in Warren's defense this fight was a title fight. As I've said with others that age what are you really supposed to do when someone's who not ready can get a title shot a ton of elites spend their whole careers waiting for? Are you really doing right by the fighter if you pump the breaks and there's a chance they lose to a nobody and/or never get that chance again?

The ABC's and the media are the one's that put him in the position to get that title fight at the time he got it. With one serious win. Those conversations really shouldn't have been being had at all. Especially with so many aging contenders. Why is Hrgovic a guy with 1 competitive loss to a world champion calling out a 20 year old? Itauma really got got vaulted to the front of the line. This might be in part because the ABC's also overrated the bejesus out of Whyte and when ABC's overrank a fighter that mistake often ripples for years through the fighters that beat them. Itauma is the first guy to beat him since Tyson Fury at which point Whyte held the WBC inteirm title.

Either way I think the fault lies with those who gave Itauma this opportunity than his connects for accepting it. It's their job to maximize their fighters reward and minimize their risk. It's the ABC's job to push back against that.

Queensbury is 5 - 0 vs Matchroom boxers so as bad as Bricktop is obviously someone is worse at developing boxers.
