Seems he's moved on front Brentwood to a 3/4 empty copper box these days. It's really alarming how badly he's doing as if he was doing even okay the sport would be much healthier.
Do you think he’d be better off doing more shows from packed small venues with a British title fight or two on the card and building things up rather than trying to compete with Hearn , using arenas that are half empty ? I remember when he used to do pretty much weekly small hall shows on ITV Seconds Out on Wednesday evenings and they were the foundation for him becoming the biggest promoter in a Britain. These trade fights he’s doing for WBO European titles, do not touch the sides as far as the casuals are concerned and , let’s be honest, Hearns not filling out too many venues atm.
Frank is doing ok. He's promoting the biggest heavyweight in decades. He will be walking Tyson Fury to the ring come fight night, I have no doubt.
Hoping it will be the resurrection of Boxnation. I think if it was relaunched there is still a gap as so many PBC and Top Rank shows are not televised in the UK. If Boxnation picked up the otherwise untelevised PBC and Top Rank shows, as well as other interesting cards, and relaunched at a competitive price like £4.99 a month; I believe it could easily be much more successful than first time around. Frank could also use Boxnation to promote his regular BT shows and his BT Box Office events. Boxnation could also televise the undercards of the aforementioned events on Boxnation.
