To save people the aggro of listening

    1. Dubois fights at the Royal Albert Hall. For a title, he says it is a mandatory? Can only assume Joyce has given up the Commonwealth belt?

    2. Joyce's win looks a lot better after the Rivas win

    3. Liam William's has a big fight in Wales in October.

    4. Josh Warrington fights October in Leeds. All the other champions are pricing themselves out. He wants Mick Conlon vs Josh at some stage

    5. Yarde vs Kovalev starts at 9.30 UK time. I assume the program not the main fight.

    1. Does he completely rule out Joyce v Dubois?

    Not sure about number 2.

Interested to see who Williams is up against.

    Warrington in an easy bout.

He does not mention joyce and dubois together.

By rivas win I mean performance. "Jennings was miles clear on the card until being clipped"

I think he thinks Sam Jones wants to go to quickly.

Does William's have fans in Wales? Genuine question

I think Whyte only lost the first round and the knockdown round against Rivas so can’t see where he’s coming from there.

I agree with him on the Sam Jones thing but you can see why they are acting quickly.

Wales has obviously got a decent boxing base. AJ has sold out the Millenium a couple of times and not every one of them has travelled in from afar. But it’s a weird one. Since Calzaghe have the Welsh really got behind anyone? Selby was world champion and he didn’t really have a home base. Williams has got the style (but not the personality) to excite people so let’s see how he goes.

    Yeah agreed on that.

It was the Selby thing that worried me with the Wales card. Last time William's was in wales was in the ice rink weren't it?

Just had a listen and it sounds like something might be going on with Saunders to me. Franks tried to get him Eubank, Smith and Ryder fights but can’t get them done. I’ve said for a while, it’s time for a parting of ways - Saunders should go with Hearn / Sky and try something new.

    Yeah I forgot that bit.

We are discussing everything. He has hardly been an asset to FW.

Williams is barely known here. If you stopped 100 people in Queen St in Cardiff with a photo of Liam, maybe 5 would recognise him. Maybe. He's nowhere near household yet. His personality is fine for the Welsh actually, he just hasn't had any exposure. I can't recall him on any BBC features of note. Frank needs to sort that out now he's becoming a decent prospect.

inb4 some 47-year-old Steve Robinson fan jumps in claiming he's got literal Calzaghe fame and I just don't know what I'm talking about. He's hasn't. Please just stop it.
