I believe Frank will do everything to persuade Warrington to drop his title rather than do business with Hearn and arrange a fight with Galahad. If this happens then I would be really disappointed as not only is it a good fight but Warrington has worked really hard to become a world champion.
Hopefully Frank accepts he might lose the purse bids and the fight can be made and maybe this might be a double header with Brook in Sheffield which would be a good night.

If I'm Josh I wouldn't be dropping that title. He can beat Galahad and I think Santa Cruz or Russell Jr would look at those crowds in the UK and could be tempted at coming over for a unification. Why sacrifice that for a shot at the WBO?

I just think from a personal point of view there’s no way Josh would be willing to sacrifice a title he’s worked so hard for.

Indeed. Him and his dad have achieved something truly fantastic. It would be a pity to give that up due to promoter politics and maybe Frank would be ill advised to try and steer him that way?

I dont either, I know that josh would be very confident going I to a fight with galahad whether it's on bt or sky. Josh has been the away fighter on sky shows before and got the win. I've just got a nagging feeling that Frank won't want Josh fighting on a sky show.

More money for the purse bid means more cash for Warrington. It's not Warrington's problem so why would he give up his title?

Because he's in a contract with Frank.

I think the sky show benefits Frank. He will get a lot more exposure of say a Leeds/Sheffield arena sky/sky ppv card than he would off any BT show. Frank could play a blinder here, Warrington comes back more popular, stock risen and then goes for the unification.

I mentioned this purse bid a couple of weeks ago and said it would be very interesting and was told it wouldn't be as Hearn/Sky/DAZN wouldn't want the fight.

I agree, if Hearn wants the fight and wins a purse bid then it's a poke in the fisheye, while FW trash talks Matchroom.. Hearn can take his number 1 fighter (with a world title) and put him on his platform.

It would be a slap in the face not only to FW but to BT Sport.

I have feeling FW knows this is coming so is already making silly excuses.. "don't want the fight". Really childish to be honest.

Well pardon us Mr W, instead of a world title fight between two unbeaten British fighters why not put Yarde in with another over matched nobody again.. because we all want that.

You did, sir. I was one of those that thought DAZN wouldn't be interested.
You're right. Another world champion is a boost for Hearn on both sides of the Atlantic.

So it was YOU.. LOL joking, a few of you said they wouldn't be interested.

I did understand where you were all coming from though, I didn't say you were all wrong and you lot didn't say I was wrong, it was just opinions and not an argument.

We will see though, nothing is done yet, BT might step in here and want to boost a bid because it's their platform that loses out and it's not a good look.

I just thought it could end up very interesting if Hearn wanted the fight and wanted to poke FW in the eye.

What does FW do now? What does Warrington do? There is even talk of Warrington vacating.. I can't see that happening.

That's were I found interest, it could get a little messy and bitter and nothing is funnier in my opinion than FW going in on Hearn and losing his temper.

But like I said, we will see, FW might be bluffing and so might Hearn, Hearn might be pretending to want the fight, making it look like he will bid large to force FW to bid higher and get Galahad a better purse.

FW might be bluffing so Hearn lowers a bid believing he has a clear run at it.. or FW knows he can't outbid Hearn and is already trying to PR the situation.

There are all sorts of outcomes possible.

I can see Frank putting this to Warrington.
If I don't win the purse bid I can get you Valdez at elland rd this summer on ppv or maybe Vegas. But if I don't win the purse bids your options are, galahad on sky or the Valdez fight. You can't have both.
    Which do you pick?

Fury couldnt sell out the MEN Arena for Wlad rematch or even sell out the Staples centre for Wilder fight. I don't even think he sold Windsor park where he was a support fight for Frampton not too long ago.

It's hardly credentials of a "huge star". I mean AJ was a even a bigger star pre becoming WC and had bigger attendance then. Since then AJ has been fighting infront 70-90k fans.

Finkel and Warren are just ducking AJ now and its plain to see.
