Its similar to how People seem to favor Hearn over Warren or visa versa
I've enjoyed shows from both over the years and been bored shitless by shows by both at times

We know Franks a more old school guy and Eddie appeals to todays market more but they need each other
If one promoter outright destroys all competion then we as fans are doomed
With no alternative we cant voice our opinions as much and it gives less places for boxers to work

I'm just glad there's options...yes one is far better and making more right now but its good to have options

Most definitely, this guy has a bizarre obsession. Almost like he cares more about Joshua/MisMatchroom than the sport of boxing.

He does. That's his modus operandi. Sad existence of a grown man, if that's what he is.

Well said. I wish commercial success for all boxers and promoters. That's how the sport thrives. I like some more than others. I criticise and praise anyone who deserves it and I'm sure I'm a little bias like every other human being. But as long as boxing wins, I'm content.

These goons pushing one promoter and/or fighter at the expense of others are sad, jealous, bitter and in some cases paid wankers. It's a real shame and it's ruined the enjoyment of the forum in many respects.

I completely agree with you however when the two promoters hate each other so much that they cannot accept their fighters boxing each other then it's us the public who are missing out. I see FW as a bitter old man who doesn't want to give anything to Matchroom and this is why we are not seeing the likes of AJ v Wilder or Yarde v Buatsi or Warrington v Galahad as these are all great fights.

frank warren is bitter i am not hearn would allow many fighters to fight on warren cards and vice versa, which is a shame. Hearn is also bitter not with frank because he has more success. when hearn is bitter is when fighters who don't to sign with him, or leave him, he gets these snark comments about fighters. i just want good fights from both and if they are ****, they need to be commentated on

Wilder is nowt to do with Warren, don’t think you can blame him for that one. He rightfully wants bigger fights for Warrington than Galahad, however that fight is happening anyway. Buatsi and Yarde are at different stages. Yarde is not ready for that fight at all and would get smashed at the moment...why would he put him in that fight? I’m convinced more and more that you’re affiliated with Matchroom.

Do you think Hearn would be the bitter one if the roles were reversed or would he be quite happy to be number 2?

Why would Warren give anything to Match room?and again visa versa
Your 100 per cent we miss out due to the ill feelings between both promotions but don't go on like Eddie would have his stars on Queensbury shows
And before anyone brings up O Hara Davies being on C5,I think we all know Hearn really didn't care less about him as he was more trouble than he was worth

Hearn putting on big shows and PPV's to strangle Carl Frampton's earnings - a fighter who left him and opted not to rejoin him a second time - were the most bitter moves I can recall from a promoter last year. That's a man's future he's messing with.

When Hearn gets his way he's funny, charismatic and great for the sport. However, when anyone else gets success or pulls a stroke without him he turns into a horrible man. We seen it last year on several occasions.

People moan about Hearn putting on PPV's against other fighters PPV's. Whilst Warren dissolves his own companies to avoid paying fighters.

People moan about Hearn putting on Cleverly v Bellew on PPV. Whilst Warren put on Khan v Prescott and Audley v Rogan.

It's very obvious what's going on here.

You constantly bring up these old rubbish Warren PPVs from over 10 years ago
It goes back to what I was saying ,Warren had no competition so he tried it on with this crap
Its what will happen if one of the major promoters go under, you end up with a monopoly and what good does that do you as a fan?
I've not once ,ever seen anyone praise Warren for these PPVs...they were awful and a cheeky way to try to earn some extra £££
Comparing them to todays market really makes no sense, the game has changed and in many ways for the good of Boxing due to Match Room but when there are alternatives out there (which there really wasn't when the mentioned PPVs took place) and you set your stall out at such a high standard (Hearn does this more than Frank imo) you leave yourself wide open for criticism when you ask for a score to watch a fight than really should only be on normal TV
Regardless of whether its 2009 or 2019 taking the mick is taking the mick

Nice post but Hayers isn't here for a conversation about the betterment of boxing unfortunately. It's Hearn promotion and damage limitation or nothing else.

So would you say Buatsi is ahead of Yarde in terms of development at the moment?

    I would

Yarde has hit a brick wall in terms of development as he is not being allowed to progress
    His opposition says it all
Buatsai is moving at a steady but respectable pace and imo stops Yarde if they were to meet today
