It really dosent affect much.IMG are their ones in the Middle who negoiate between the Promoters and Broadcasters to ensure no dodgy deals/negotiations take place.Mayweather v Mcgregor,Sky put in a Bid to IMG who took it back to Mayweather Promotions to decide.Ultimately,Warren will still be beaten to MAJOR Events as Sky have a Tried and trusted PPV System and much more money to splash on boxing

The problem Frank/Box Nation have got with PPV is they already have subscribers. It’s hard to charge people again to pay.

I don't think you understand- IMG are not being used to buy events.

They are being used to sell Frank's shows to international broadcasters.

BoxNation have around 100,000 subscribers who will not be charged.

There is still at least 300,000 buys out there. More for huge events.

I don’t think there is. Look at Canelo GGG. I’d be intrigued to see what numbers they done. It’s interesting that frank also says he won’t be able to sell the second fight as a PPV too.

Big problem people have with ppv that goes under the radar is dependability. Every UK platform outside Sky that has done ppv boxing recently seems to melt down on the night and people have diffucukiry getting the entire bill (only exception I can think of was Parker v Hughie Fury on YouTube).

It's on the same night as Haye v Bellew that's why.

The first PPV did well for a dry run.

BoxNation PPV has exactly the same buying method and infrastructure as Sky Box Office.

Any danger of an announcement? Assuming the Frampton fight being for the interim title was not it

Does this figure include all the Bi's in Brighton, Manchester and London?

I believe you can't order it on the Red button. Plus production will be BT, andvyslts unproven. They can just put it on a Sky channel.

If it done so well why didn’t or don’t they release the numbers? The Haye Bellew fight being on the same night is just an excuse. I’d assume that would do well to get 200/250k buys. Anthony Joshua pre Klitschko (still a massive draw) was only averaging 300k buys.

Edit. **** me. Haye Bellew done 750k buys first time around?!

Fish already went on record making it clear that he would never charge existing Boxnation Subscribers PPV.

If he ever backtracks on that pledge his channel is finished.

Sky should also not charge existing Sky Sports subscribers PPV - these nuggets will eventually eat themselves from within as technology advances.

In 10-15 years, people will laugh at those horrific satellite dishes that used to be stuck on house walls.

Boxnation is completely different. They charge people specifically for boxing. You can’t throw extra boxing on and then charge PPV for it!

I doubt there’s anyone in the world who has a sky subscription solely for the boxing.
