Warren had only made 3 50-50 fights this year. Smith vs Quigley, Mitchell vs Katsidis and Cleverly vs Brancolion

The problem with Warren liking for filling undercards with prospects is that you are unlikely to get competitive matches.

Even those are debatable as being 50-50 fights. Clev's fight certainly wasn't 50-50 IMO.

It's going to be Primetime isn't it. If it is the details don't matter to me. I'm not paying PPV each month to see Friday Fight Night quality fights. I subscribe to Sky and ESPN as it is. There is a recession on you know.

There's definately a new channel called 'Combat' launching. It's mainly MMA. Do you think they've got the finances to feature live boxing ?

If it's on a nice channel like this Comcast (or whatever) it would only worth taking the deal if FW gets a minimum of 30 dates in my mind, the lack of exposure would make it better to have 10 dates on Sky if it's any less then that.

Doubt it though they surely wouldn't pay enough money to pay the sought of licence fees that FW forked out for Rhodes and Barker-Macklin.

How much would they be charging for this new channel?

And it's not going to have the widest of audiences is it? Doesn't help build stars.

I agree about Cleverly's fight and reckon Smith-Quigley was 60/40 in Smith's favour.
