What happened to the Richards fight and the other fight he announced with the original announcement of Foster Vs Beech?
Chris Bourke (7-0-0) vs Ramez Mahmood (11-0-0) southern area Super Bantam as it stands with support from unbeaten prospects Denzel Bently, Ekow Essuman and Louis Lynn. This content is protected
Dunno what's happened with Richards vs Sadiq, but Cacace vs Woodstock is postponed cos Cacace is injured.
I see enough from him to suggest to me this isn't such a terrible fight. I don't think it'll be particularly competitive, but it's on the better side of tune ups
Who's to say: https://www.boxingforum24.com/threads/any-semblance-of-truth-here.651809/ maybe smoke and mirrors, maybe disinformation or planted by mischief makers. If DAZN tell Eddie they're entering the UK market he's a choice to make and presumably Sky would turn to either Frank or MTK if they lost their boxing guy to them. So maybe they've had exploratory talks?
Yes, and in a normal climate I'd agree. But if anything this is just to ideally give them both a couple (and I mean a couple) of rounds to get the rust off, and more importantly hype the real fight on 24th October. A great chance to get otherwise uninformed watchers to be aware of the fighters and fight that has been made. All good by me, no sense in them risking the big payday against live opponents, or waiting all that time. The Joyce Dubois fight needs fans there.
I understand the money isn't there for these cards but as a boxing fan I do not want to see noncompetitive fights. There are 118 fighters ranked higher than Joyce's opponent.
Think they had the Marcus Morrison fight wrapped for Bentley but Morrison seems to have swerved it now
Neither do I at all, but will still watch with it on BT seeing as I already have it. But from Frank's point of view that's another 117 potentially more likely fighters to take away Joyce's 0 other than Dubois. I agree better opponents albeit still low risk, could have and should have picked, however.
Why’s is that stopping him from fighting? Boxers don't usually need maternity leave..there must be something else going on
