Frampton is only 40% of the man that left the ring at the end of the LSC 1 fight mate and Midget Mick not fit to lace his gloves in his prime. Perhaps Midget Mick would wish to challenge Warrington - but we know he has zero balls in sac
I don’t think that fight is financially viable on BT without a live crowd hence why was pushed back to October
Dont think we will see any fights like that in near future tbh unless its a promoter with a big PPV platform (sky or US based) as i think FW model relies heavily on gate receipts
Maybe the best chance we have of seeing bigger names is the likes of Frampton who can't have long left in the game and can't therefore postpone indefinitely until the crowds are allowed back in the arenas.
Yes, the worry on the other side though is that wait too long and the audience you've been patiently building goes elsewhere. I think all these lockdown shows are likely loss leaders seeking to preserve that audience. At some point some fighters may have to drop their prices and share some of the pain?
The card tonight is shite. Going to be staying in on a wet Saturday and think we'll put a film on instead. Only half interested in Joyce fight
Even this seems unlikely. Football starting four weeks or so before that fight and they blatantly won't have much if any crowds there. Shame Frank is such a useless promoter. Captive audience should be lapping it up at the minute but barely anyone seems to know it's happening.
The Ramez Mahmoud vs Chris Bourke is a good fight. Bentley looks quite exciting and Louie Lynn is in a tougher fight than he has faced
Ye Bourke is a top prospect, I've kept my eye on him since his second fight. I dont know much about mahmood, I've seen that he won the southern area title at fw so he has got some experience there but he must of realised that he could make sbw and has taken this opportunity. I'm looking forward to this.
It's going to have it's work cut out beating the high standard set by last weeks Harrison/BIBA PPV extravaganza.
