during sykes fight last night john rawling said ' buckland was looking at a european title shot but would have to fight at lightweight? and maloney confirmed it after fight saying buckland couldn't challenge sykes at sf.

maybe murray/buckland 2 won't come off, but we could even see buckland challenging crolla on undercard of khan!

Really looking forward to this one, especially if they get Groves vs DeGale.

I've already got a hotel booked as I thought Haye would be fighting that night but this card has the potential to be far superior.

We should add Macklin- Barker to the list, could be interesting to see who pulls out first.

I wouldn't be so fussed for the fights having a title at stake.

Too many of those opponents wouldn't be of any interest... I'd like a few domestic matches instead.

Why Barker and Macklin are so seemingly reluctant to get it on I've no idea.

I know Warren wouldn't do it in a million years, but I'd love to see him make Gavin vs Brook.

only benefit of the titles is we get 12 rounds instead of 10. also you get allot of good fights at domestic level because of the belts. Last night for example.

Ten rounders don't bother me in the slightest.... in that I'd say that too many of our fighters move up to 12 too quickly, or have too many 12 rounders back to back.

The odd eight or ten rounder never did Duran or Chavez any harm.

Last night was a really good fight, hopefully the board insist on Buckland vs Sykes next.

    :deal

Agree about 10 rounders. I'd rather our fighters fought 10 rounders against solid opposition rather than 12 rounders for meaningless belts (Warren is the worse with his WBO inter-galactic bull****).

Maloney was saying Buckland can't fight for titles at 130 cos he's never fought at the weight.

    Prizefighter was at 132.
