    ''The hitman''

    Been done to death..

    ''He's one of our own''

    Cringy as ****..

A Stokey with the inevitable annoying Stokey following. Nah not for me.

Might do well up there though?
Is there many shows in and around Stoke?

    Might be an untapped market
Esp if the footy crowd are targeted

Is a very good signing off his own back selling 3,000 tickets in a hall in Stoke.

Nothing organisation but has got an IBO belt already.

For a lad who hasnt had major backing he has done incredibly well.

Definitely deserves his chance, Frank Also has Brad Foster the British Champion who is from Litchfield, Shabaz Masoud is from Stoke as well?

Be a nice little card to be put on there. SM had been slated to fight for the English belt prior to lockdown.

That's the thing they are always targeted. A cheep way to gain a following in my humble opinion.

In a working mans sport with very little if any coverage of small hall shows, it is about the only hope you have of gaining a following though.

I get that I just don't like it when British fighers have to proclaim their love for their football teams as a way to gather support. It's unimaginative and cringeworthy.

I agree it is unimaginative but I dont really see what options they have. If you are a star amateur who joins Eddie straight after the Olympics then you are grand. But if you are a nobody, you need to seek tickets early to be able to get on shows and earn money. Is a necessary evil

I knew he get signed after that video went viral, he'll sell tickets against poor opposition and he's fun to watch, but in all honesty he's not great and will get beat as he steps up. Best of luck to him though, he's done the hard part in getting noticed.

Tom Jones music straight after Neil Diamond - all Warden needs now is the darts music played at the intervals and end of matches for the full set.
