Warren has came out and said that if Khan beats MAB, he wants a title crack at Marquez.

Can ANYONE possibly think that Amir would have a snowball's chance in Hell against Dinamita????

I think Warren either now hates Amir, or he has lost the plot completely. Perhaps after so many years of promoting shoddy Joe Calzaghe turkeyshoots at the Cardiff Ice Rink, he is now trying to redress the balance and shove his fighters into fights they cannot win!!

To be fair if he beats barrera i doubt he would go fo an immediate title shot, kahn mentioned the european title quite recently. I think he means as a future opponent as jmm is obviosuly the top man.

No mate honestly, I dunno what Amir himself has been saying, but Warren said this week that he wants a title shot at Marquez after this fight.

I actually think Khan would stand a decent chance against JMM.

Why would he not want to biggest fights for Khan? It would sell very, very well, if Khan got past Barrera, especially if Barrera performed reasonably well. JMM is starting to slip as well. He's not what he used to be 2-3 fights ago. Who knows...it's a HUGE IF to even get past Barrera, nevermind JMM, but...why not? How many fighters/promoters would decline a shot at JMM?:huh

I doubt Warren wants JMM for Khan....he'll hope JMM will move up and vacate so Khan can face a mismatch for the vacant title

No, he's not crazy. He's a money grubbing a-hole who doesn't mind cashing in on his fighter's slaughter. No different than any other snake promoter or manager out there.

As I said on a different thread on the same topic, Warren is probably banking on JMM going up to LWW as there are bigger fights there or him right now.

Barrera is #1 contender with the WBO at lightweight, so Warren wants Khan-Barrera to be an eliminator for Marquez WBO lightweight belt.

If Khan beats Barrera and goe to #1 in the WBO rankings, he'll probably get some opponent of Warrens choosing to fight for the vacant title after JMM moves up.

I doubt he seriously wants Khan to get in the ring with JMM, he just thinks if he makes a noise about it he'll get Khan a shot at the title Marquez currently holds.

Typical Warren, wouldn't surprise me if he gave it some "Marquez is ducking Khan" bull**** if Marquez vacates his belt.

I think it makes much more sense for Warren to chase JMM than to want him to disappear so that Khan can get a shot at the vacant belt. It's not about the belts here...it's about the money. If he loses to JMM, so what? The 22 year old kid was beaten by a top p4p fighter in his 21st fight! He can always chase a title AFTER that.:deal
