couple of months ago i remember him talking about Mitchell, Arthur, Khan, Cook, Matthews all fighting each other. So what happens the first time one of there fights gets made. Alex Arthur vs Stephen Foster Jnr, what a *****!
No every fight can be against the best opponent, Arthur is just keeping busy, earning money against a (in domestic terms) 'name' opponent while he waits for a world title shot. I don't blame him TBH .
He's a bottle job. You always see his name down on the card, but he never shows on the night. They usually find a willing journeyman at the last minute to take his place though. Check him out at boxrec, you will see what i mean.
That isn't a new era. A few MIGHT come through. All the names you mention will be HARD PRESSED to come close to being the next Hatton or Calzaghe. Khan has serious talent and that is where the hope lay. I like Mitchell, Arthur, Cook etc but I can't seriously believe they'll ever be the next Hatton, Hamed, Calzaghe etc
fact is arthur hasnt beat a good fighter yet warren wont ever put him in with 1 either until his moneymaking has left
