He also has Sam Noakes, who rumour has it could be fighting Ronnie Clarke on the card. I dunno if he would look to put either in with the winner though - I just think it’s a good fight to put on the card, plus it helps K2
Anthony Cacae will be back out in December after his IBO World Super-Featherweight Title win last night against Alex Dilmaghani. Also heavy rumours that Artur Beterbiev will choose to face his WBC mandatory Callum Smith rather than his WBO mandatory Anthony Yarde.
Bivol is not his mandatory. He could fight him next but would have to relinquish his belts in order to do so. The Smith fight makes sense.
After the joyce fight it seems fwank is number 1 in the UK again, or at least tied. Great comeback to be fair.
It’s and undisputed fight. It supersedes all mandatories. Nothing would stop this fight beside Top Rank or Beterbiev
I don't see it. Joyce is nearly 40 and will probably lose within his next 3 fights and Tyson is close to retiring. What and who does he have to keep him there?
Warren is clearly the top UK promoter at the moment. that doesn't mean he will be next year or two years from now. but right now he is. Eddie Hearn was way too arrogant and got complacent and talked down to people who been in the business longer than he been alive. he declared Matchroom was too big to have UK competitors. & that has come back & bitten him on ass. he's doing well still but he's the 2nd UK promoter at the moment.
If Warren was the top promoter in the UK I would be able to watch his cards in Japan. Wowow Japan show cards from Top Rank, PBC, and Matchroom. DAZN Japan has matchroom and Goldenboy That means I could watch Ruiz Jr. V Ortiz But not Joyce v Parker Queensbury need to step up their game if they are going to fly the flag
Yeah, Hearn bit off more than he could chew with his global ambitions, his UK stable is suffering now. How many British fighters have left his stable in the last 6 months?
This is a fair point - it probably makes little or no difference in terms of revenue for QP or BT Sport but in this day and age there's no reason why the fights couldn't be distributed a bit wider.
Highly unlikely Tony Simms would go for that on a Queensbury show, unless Frank makes a ridiculous offer they can’t refuse.
