The takeaway from this is Eddie’s mouth got him in trouble — you say every day that the deal is done, the contracts are forthcoming ... and for months you don’t produce, the other side loses faith.

Beterbiev wouldn`t stand a chance v any heavyweight champ, Usyk would toy with Beterbiev.

 

He, despite yeah, doesn't have business at CW, punches harder than Usyk.

Do you guys remember that Fury was supposed to fight Kabayel (or some random scrub if Kabayel wouldn't have wanted the smoke), but it never materialised? I wonder why... We don't know what goes on behind closed doors. Perhaps he was barred from fighting anyone until the arbitrator has made a decision and barred on commenting on it? I think this is the most likely scenario at play here.

He spent most of the interview complaining about Eddie getting peoples hopes up and how negotiations took so long but avoided discussing the option to cancel the rematch with Wilder. He also failed to acknowledge Arum told everyone that the arbitration was not going to be a problem and he played down the fact they booked a stadium for July 2 weeks ago for the Wilder fight before any announcement about arbitration.
