Eddie's looking at Frank in the rear view mirror..... he's a level above nowadays. And his cheques don't bounce.
These days yes but compare their history's of big fights. Frank has working relationships with other promoters that's how he got McCall over for Bruno and brokered the first Wilder fight. Hearn struggles to negotiate big fights aside from mandatory's as seen with his failed Matchroom USA project.
Comparing histories is like comparing a football team doing well now with some side who’ve been useless for years but were big in the 90’s. Those going on about Frank sound like Newcastle fans telling the likes of Man City and Leicester that they’re bigger than them because they paid a lot for Shearer years ago. Failing to realise they’re mid table dross at best.
Yep loads of court cases to appear at before he can state his dynasty.........he’s a slime ball but he’s achieved big since he’s been about so can’t really knock him for achievement so far at his age. Love the rivalry though so long may it continue.
Not really the same thing though is it? Warren was providing a payday for their fighters, Hearn is parking DAZN's tanks on their lawn. There's a lot of jockying for position at the moment in the US, just look at how Arum struggles to get Crawford opponents. As a rule though promoters will work for anyone if there's money in it, only thing that typically stops them is a contractual tie in with a broadcaster.
Frank made the biggest heavyweight fight involving a British fighter since Lennox Lewis beat Mike Tyson only last year! Hardly mid table dross! A fight that Eddie tried and failed to make for his biggest star.
He's the great survivor of British boxing, but after taking the gamble on Fury's comeback, he couldn't hold on to him. Did he make that fight or was it Top Rank and MTK with Frank given a face saving seat at the table?
Frankie Warden the people's promoter and Tyson Fury the people's champion - Tony Hayers frothing at the mouth with rage. Seething with rage
Frank made this?? Lol. do me a favour as frank would say. Only thing he did was give fury high paying knockovers then sell his contract on and pick up 5%
So? Managers work on commission and I expect it was more than 5%. Frank negotiated the first fight directly with Shelly Finkel, this has been widely documented by both men.
Those three new Scouse signings looked good last week. Andrew Cain, Nick Ball, Brad Strand. Especially Andrew Cain he looked quality, definitely one to watch. Nick Ball is exciting to watch and strong as a bull for his small height he's defo gonna be in some good fights. and Strand looked fast and sharp.
