He received close to a mill in step aside money for Lee-Quillin, and I'd guess he got around a mill or so for the Lee fight

What's the rush, people are far too impatient, had they allowed Lemieux a few more solid wins under his belt that win would have meant far more. The reason why no one looks at GGG as legit is because either they're racist and never will or because they're legacy obsessed and they want him to get a win that seems legit or significant in their eyes, and BJS beating Canelo, and then GGG beating him would be very legit in their eyes....maybe.

Precisely. Bjs ain't short of a few bob. I'd prefer he faced canelo, which he would win and pocket more millions then face ggg. If he loses to ggg he's still one of the top Mws of his era

The impatience is from the fact that GGG isn't a young gun. We don't know how much longer his prime will last. He needs these big fights asap.

4 million isn't the offer lol. It's what Saunders said he would need to fight GGG.

Holy ****, these accountants are doing work today.

They're way more knowledgable than BJS's camp and advisers. They know much more :patsch:rofl

Sure they are. But they do this every time.

They clown on guys who don't take fights and they make blanket statements like - "Oh, he would have made X amount of dollars, way more than his norm"

As if they know anything about the offers being made or what's in the fighter's bank account

    Just funny to see

    ESB accountants are the best.

So Lemieux received less than half of the monetary amount being proposed to BJS and David fought GGG on PPV. I'm assuming they're not going to try and make another stinker of a PPV between GGG and BJS.

Those numbers don't make any sense at all. Gennady didn't all of a sudden turn into some cashcow after beating Lemieux. Sounds extremely fishy.

Edit: I just saw who the TS was. It's the defacto TMZ reporter of ESB.

Lemieux was sacrificed by DLH, so that Golovkin would agree to take the step aside money from Cotto and Canelo could fight the midget.

I agree that $4 mil is speculation though.

GGG's style will allow him to have a far longer prime than most fighters, he's taken minimal punishment over the years, his prime could possibly last until he's 40 or 42. Wlad is 39 and will be 40 and he's had 68 matches. But I see where you're coming from, but I tend to look at the long term legacy and big picture of people's careers than most. BJS racking up a few more good wins which he definitely can will make him a far better win and will make GGG's resume look more impressive. I'm also biased since I've been high on BJS for quite a while now as well. I'd like to see him become the force at MW I've always believed he could be than just another piece of grist for the GGG mill....yet. But eventually.

    BJS just tweeted this:

People asking me about. GGG it's down to my management @djk256 and @frank******_tv if I get the green light lets GO!🇬🇧👌💨 One think I am is a fighting man I wouldn't back down a fight from any man ' 🇬🇧💨

Btw, 4 mill isn't a fact. It's just a rumor that's floating around the web. I don't even know if I believe of how high it is. All we do now is that GGG's side did send a very significant amount according to both sides.
