loved watching that fight last night Frankie, very professional performance in difficult circumstances with change of opponent. Can't wait to see you step up a level and show people just how good you can be, who knows it may soon be that people will be talking about yourself rather than amir as the top British lightwelter.

And if I was you I would do those sit ups if you want to shut people like mccroy up lol!

 

Missed the fight last night but look forward to catching in online later.

Frankie Gavin is special, he fights like he has had 30 pro fights under his belt.

He'd beat McCloskey and Brook in the morning (bold statement, I know). Him along with James DeGale are the future of British boxing. If he has a good chin and is dedicated, he could be P4P material. I rate him that highly.

Was a good performance. His counter punching ability is a bit off though. Saw him stand still a few times and just get jabbed to the face.

 

Love the new breed of trainer assassins. Fellas need to shut up bout shite like this....:-(

 

I said it before the fight in another thread that I didn't get why Frankie is so hyped, but I was quite impressed by what I saw last night.

I'm on the bandwagon.............. for now

 

Frankie one major criticism I have to bring up and I am truly sorry to say this but the facial hair :-(

 

Only with time will you be able to tell, very true. That is why you should'nt be saying he should switch trainers. Far to premature, and like whats already been said, warren and gavin arent fools, they would'nt be with farnell if he was'nt any good:good

i aint far mate.
i havent trained (boxing)for over 12months,we lived for sparring down our gym(sandygate abc,burnley)
,its the only bit i liked about the training side,hated bag work and skipping,unfortunately i aint allowed to go now,the wife won't let me,had a little problem with my brain,they ****ing found one and took me in for tests,cos ive never been known to use it.

if im ever passing,i will pop and pass on some of my knowledge:huh,honest,you would never beleive i boxed,im just so bloody handsome:deal
