Fighting in an 8 rounder in april...seriously at this stage of his career bit of a joke really that he his fighting on the undercard in an 8 rounder. Should have been at least challenging for european honours by now and close to world. Shame how the careers of potentially our two most talented fighters in years, degale and gavin, have turned out. Won't surprise me if fellow brummie yafai progresses to world level before gavin.

I have to say I had my doubts over Frankie's career when he failed to make weight at the Olympics, how can that possibly happen? Surely you know way before the tournament comes around if you can get down to an agreed weight or not, it was very odd.

Since then he's not done an awful lot and I know he's been blighted by personal problems too but now he actually seems to be giving it a fair crack and he's just being fed shite opponents and getting fights cancelled. Really want to see him kick on to Euro level by the end of the year.
