Looking at Cox and Gavin they clearly thought their apparent superior skill level would have them win easy.

Jack Cullen transitioned really well but you could tell he trained Dec Spellman also had a win but looked out of shape. But Fun Time and Cox both didn't train and both had no heart. Although Wasserman is a very seasoned BK fighter so Cox fighting him on debut seemed strange to me.

Main event should be a cracker to be fair both very experienced. Christie cuts very easily though.

Agree his pro career was a sack of shyte.

Somehow he managed to get a bag of PPV Loot v Brook as well.

At the end of the day these are old men by sporting standards with a lot of mile on the clock, and if your heart isn't in it either then it's only going to end one way. You saw it earlier on with Jimmy Wallhead getting splattered within seconds. He's a very experienced high level MMA fighter who's fought for the UFC. But it was a bloke in his forties against someone in their twenties.

BK is no place for old men.

Gavin and Jamie Cox both flopped in their BKFC debuts for the same reason: they eased up in the clinch, waiting for a boxing-style reset that never came. In the ring, the ref breaks it up — in BKFC, you get punched. Old subconscious habits die hard. Boxers switch off in the tie-up, but in bare-knuckle, that’s when you get slept. New game. Harsh lesson.

At least Cox made it to Round 2. I missed Gavin’s KO — was mid-bet on him, thought the odds looked tasty. Turns out I saved myself a few quid. Might throw it all on the Jake Paul PPV instead — pain comes in many forms.

Tierney's work in the inside was superb

That was a bit car crash - I shouldn't have enjoyed it but it was fascinating. There was certainly a lot more skill involved than I thought there'd be.

Pauli lost a bare knuckle fight about 3 years ago by decision and felt he was robbed.

I watched it and thought he won as well although he never looked like he could hurt his opponent.

I thought he edged it too but he was pathetic in that fight and we all knew his hands weren’t durable enough.

if we were going to see some more pros give it a try post retirement from the UK the type I’d like to see is a spiteful Josh Taylor type. He wouldn’t get bullied and folded on the inside with dirty boxing like Cox and Gavin.

If the promotion grows and the purse money is there I wouldn’t be surprised if we see some of the better pros give it a shot.

Gavin when I saw him take his t shirt off thought wow, terrible condition, obviously needs the money a name to sell a few tickets and get boxing fans like us watching.

Thought above all at the end he looked seriously embarrassed, WC amateur boxer, pro career that he blew tbh and now just knowing what it feels to just turn up to get beat for a payday like a journeyman.

7 years retired, would made decent money in his career, another example of wasted money and talent.
