A lot more "British" champions without a single drop of "British" blood in them that Irish guys without irish blood. Just throwing that out there. Good luck to Frankie however he fights! :good
why do you bite everytime? everyone knows everybody and his granny somehow qualifies for the UK but to be fair every country in the world is at it. cant we BOTH support him?:happy
You two can back Gavin all you want, but if he ever fights for the Irish title against an Irish boxer, then the Irish boxer will get my support every time:nono
I'm not biting, just pointing out facts. I am sure that both countries will support Gavin and he will transend nationalities and become a world star! :yep
The opponent won't add anything to his resume but a Midland belt should position him comfortably for an English title shot. That would be scheduled for 10, then move straight to Lenny Daws. Ideally, he'd be fighting Wright for the English title now and Daws for the British next.
to be fair to gavin[wich i haven't often done] he was a great amateur, but the pro job needs adjustments, he boxed well against peter mcdonaugh, he,s under pressure to move quick daws is a dificult opponent , they were saying williams was going to beat him, but reality was diferent, harrisons a good opponent at this stage, but to go for daws with so little pro experience, its pushing it, he'd be better with a dozen or more fights under his belt.
In the grand scheme of things if Frankie does fulfil his potential, but right now Harrison is arguably the best opponent Frankie has fought so far in the pro game.
Harrison falls in and constanly leads with his face, He'll be taken apart within 6 to 8 very painful rounds.. If he tries to rush Frankie too much it will be over even quicker.. Frankie is starting to come into his own.. Come 18th Harrison is gonna need a bat or some kind of tool cos his arms simply are not enough....
Portside nice to see you still talk **** ! 12 more fights before Daws are you mental ????? As for Harrison, well me and Tony stood and watched them spar about 3 months back :-( hard, painful night on the 18th for tha lad :deal
Just how much do you rate Frankie? How far do you actually think he can go? I think he will walk through just about anyone domestically, the only stumbling block i can see for him is his skin and perhaps his power, how will his power carry him against the elite of division. He doesn't have that 1 punch power that bellew has but he picks his shots so well that his flurries damage opponents, however he has picked up a few 'premature' stoppages in his fights so far. Cheers mate, good to see you still logging on and hope the new job is going well :good
I think he's amazing pal. I think he'll breeze domestic level (and that includes Olusegun and McCloskey when the time comes. It's no secret I'm a fan and if you had the good fortune that I have then you would so after watching him train and spar. I know doing it in fights is different however considering he did it constantly on the big stage at AM I'd wager him not choking on the big stage now. I think were in for some class fights in a few years with Benavidez, Frankie Gomez and Gavin all competing for honours :deal New job's sound pal. Hope you're well
:good Back to boxing, i like frankie's style and i like his boxing brain, he has a cracking chin and good footwork but like i say i dont think he has that much pop in his punches. Hopefully as he gets older and fills out he can gain some power ala cleverly. That benavidez looks to be an absolute nail on for a top 10 p4p. Really impressed with him so far, i like billy-joe-saunders aswell, if he stopped ****ing about and focused more in the gym he would be my pick out the bunch to go the furthest.# BTW whats the crack with the crack with teh warren card on the 18 of sept, are you still going???
