    Frankie Gavin turned down a Tenerife training camp last week, due to fear of flying and instead headed to help McDermott, ''the black country body snatcher'' prepare for Paul 'Smigga' Smith.

    McDermott said, '' Its top quality sparring like ive never had before. Im sure he's expecting to go in there and bowl me over, he's in for a shock''.

    The boys from Arnies gym went to Tenerife for training - Gavin doesnt like flying so didnt go - Gavin went to Brum to train for the week whilst the boys were away - whilst there did a couple of rounds sparring with McDermott. End of story.

    Frankie Gavin scared of flying..........didn't he travel the world as an amateur???

    I hope this doesn't mean we miss out on some Vegas trips in a few year funtime.

    yes he was, find it hard to believe he wont go spain when travelled alot further as an amatuer

    I don't like flying went away at Xmas to Tenerife an the trip was terrible so done my head in an if a big fight comes in another country I will be there don't worry about that

    my mate is abit like u in that way, coz he hates the turbulants and coz its a smaller plane is worse
