Frankie Gavin punches like an 11 year old girl

Why don't you get real mate? Why do people keep bringing up the Woodhouse fight? There are so many extenuating circumstances for that bout that it's borderline irrelevant.

 

Seeing as Frankie posts on this forum, i'm sure it can be arranged for you to go spar with him and see if he really does hit like an 11 year old girl.

 

Calling any boxer a '****' over the internet is pathetic, especially one who takes the time to post on here and obviously you wouldn't dare say that to his face.

Of course this forum is here to comment and even criticise boxers and all things boxing but have some respect.

I think Frankie is never going to be an exciting boxer and he also tends to fight down or up to the level he's fighting at. He's a super talent and maybe drifts through fights too much but he's a counter puncher and not a attack minded fighter, unfortunately some of his recent opponents like Barnes, Witter and now Pryce are also counter punchers which makes for very dull fights.

Gavin vs Bundu would be a much more entertaining fight as Bundu would always be coming forward at Frankie and allow him to counter of the attacks.

Also Pryce probably weighed above well 160lbs in the ring last night which would have made him a Super Middleweight, he's also a tough durable crafty journeyman so of course Frankie's punches weren't gonna have any effect on him.

 

purdy gave a heart attack ? lmao the guy is 39 and stopped purdy and for me showed some serious talent.

Think Gavin will look to step it up now and press on with his career next year. He's had a decent 2013... won 4 times and done the business comfortably each time.

Yeah maybe he isn't a massive puncher, but from what we've seen so far he hits hard enough to gain respect... nobody's walked right through him. Either way, I'm sure Vassell's jaw would disagree.

Can't see Gavin/Brook happening any time soon.

 

Gavin is the best technical fighter we have had in a long while but it is time for him to be given a real test.

You can see he has a great boxing brain working out distance the better fighters out there the question for me can he set the traps a counter puncher without big power needs to win at the top?Maybe but we need to find out.
