The problem with FG is he cant adapt he fights one way ,he is a out and out counter puncher with no punch I would rather watch paint dry than watch him he's keeps stinking the joint out in his last fight his own fans started walking out mid way through the fight.

Chris Van Heerden? That would be a hard fight.

Not a bad call on Van Deerden, either way Gavin needs to step it up now.

I don't see too many doubting his talent, Billy. I do see some people questions a) his punch power, b) his ability to entertain a crowd, c) his slow career trajectory given he is now 28 years old.

Nobody makes perfect decisions, but I wonder if FW at the end of his career may wish he'd handled Frankie Gavin a little differently? Promoters probably have regrets too...

Gavin's cleaned up the domestic scene and now is the time to step up, but David Barnes was a good fighter who was double British champion and although the losses are starting to pile up for Bradley Pryce he did just fight for the European title at Light-middleweight in his previous fight so Gavin's level of opposition has been good seen as the next logical step up is European level.

    This.

Gavin is a purists dream, but a casuals nightmare.

If he doesn't REALLY crack on this year then his career is over.

I wouldn't actually say over.Maybe the nice way to put it is that it will be a crucial year for him.Ive read a lot of managers saying their fighter will have 6 fights this year.I reckon if anybody needs to be as active as this it would be Frank.Either that or try to fast track him by winning the European title against Bundu,or as somebody suggests,Van Heerden in what would probably be his 2nd fight this year, probably around July. Then he could be in a position to be a voluntary for somebody around the end of the year.IF his manager can pull it off.

His balance, timing, judging distance, accuracy are all first class. This probably evolved because hes not a banger. I believe he will become a worls champion

I've not read so much. ****, he won a world am championship and he'd have faced many diffrent styles so your claim is nonsense
