Debatable.

Gavin's got skill, but his lack of power will be exposed. I don't think he's got that much speed either.

Haye had speed and power in abundance which made up for other flaws.

 

They should also watch Haye in the ams, even the solis loss. Haye has all the talent in the world and should have achieved far more in what still turned out to be a pretty damn good pro career.

 

Depends on what people class as talent, personally Haye's a very talented athlete but very different attributes to Gavin who's very talented with his defense and timing etc.

Like Frankie stated on his Facebook he has made the decision to leave the gym purely because of his personal and private life outside the gym which made it intoreable for Frankie to stay in Manchester.These reasons will remain private between Fankie & myself. I wish him all the luck for the future,we will remain friends. Good luck Frank

I spent a lot of time at the TKO a while back and the sparring, facilities etc are top drawer.
I really hope it works out for Frankie, like others i feel he has talent in bundles, a word of warning though, from what i have seen at the TKO and of Jimmy Tibbs, the fighter really needs to want it, i dont think its in his nature to chase his fighters down checking on roadwork etc, i could be wrong, but that is the impression i got when at Mitchels camp for Kats...

 

Stuey i think your right with regards to the roadwork. I noticed it myself when all the excuses came out after the Kats loss.

 

no wonder frankie thinks he doesnt have to train look at all those sucking his cawk.

 

Sandwich or Sammich?

 

It's not Arnie's fault! People wanna pull him down! Frankie wants a change and that's it! He's entitled to that, Manchester has become a place of distraction for him! That's not Arnies fault!

Frankie will have someone who will treat this as a business relationship with him! It's so difficult having a friend you care about and love also training you, they see no wrong in you and you see no wrong in them! It's your closest people around who see it going wrong, I know this cos I've been there! It's not nice an I know how hard a decision it was for Frankie!

Arnie is still a good coach and it changes nothing in that perspective! People should remember that the fighter only has 1 chance at this game! 1 chance to make it work and get paid! Therefore he cannot afford to make mistakes!

At the end of the day, Arnie is a good coach and Frankie is a good fighter!

Fighters move on and so do coaches!

There is not 1 coach in the world who knows it all and they all offer something different, they'll both do well I feel! I've said from day 1 that Frankie Gavin is destined for the top! Possibly domestic greatness!!

Finally I wish both all the luck in the world!

 

Jimmy is a very laid back guy, Mark is responsible for the conditioning, but neither seem keen on nannying fighters. I like that approach for some, certain guys will really flourish in camps like that, others need a kick up the ass,i hope Frankie can see his potential and flourish, personally, i think the first thing the Tibbs will do is get a really good nutrionist on board, helping frankie make weight effectively will be a key for me...
