Frankie Gavin splits with Arnie

Good move for Frankie, Tibbs is top drawer and if Frankie can get some serious discipline and conditioning expertise he will fulfill his potential. I would like Degale to to over to Tibbs as well.

Right ok , i take it you dont like Arnie and his gym for what ever reason.

Maybe now Arnie will look at the boxers he has lost and the reasons behind that.

 

I actually think arnie is an ok guy, just needs to be more boss than a friend.

 

Good luck to Frankie , Arnie and Tony Bellew, all three have had the guts to come on here when they know they will get some grief.

 

If the lads gonna make a change better that he's decisive and makes it now, he's only 25and if he has a couple of more bouts where he doesn't perform the damage could be irrerparable. He's obviously very gifted and if he gets his head down, could go far. Good luck Frankie.

 

Exactly. Bellew and Gavin were the boss. They didnt seem to give a toss about what Farnell was saying in the corner. Gavin was probably drinking cans of Diet Coke in the gym. Bellew said that he boxed to a gameplan for the first time during his "masterclass". He simply was not listening to Farnell at all and got his wake up call vs Ajisafe.

As for Gavin, he should look to the US if he really wants to be successful in the game.

glad they can remain friends about it all, Arnie is a top class guy, and Gavin has the tools to do it, but if it is location that is causing him problems, then, he has to move,

Why do people always say that a fighter should go to usa as soon as he doesnt perform in a fight!?

 

I think because you'd be in an environment where you can't slack off. No one over there will treat you as special, the sparring is much better, and there's no distractions from friends and family.

That said, if it was me? I'd be even worse over there. I love the place.

 

better sparring, better nutritional/strength coaches.

 

Right I am really annoyed with this. First it was Carlos Tevez and now Frankie Funtime Gavin. Not sure what both your problems are, but both of you need to creack your heads together. I like Manchester and if the pair of you dont like it, then bugger well off!
