i don't think it matters which title a fighter wins these days, they're judged on the quality of the opposition more than anything. The WBO is no better or worse than any other organisation, the WBA has 3 world titles per weight division FFS.

Frankie has a way to go yet before he fights for a world title.

 

another pointless fight, as most people on the thread have said. Gavin is 1/100 to win at the bookmakers. Lets hope he doesn't go down the WBU route like Farnell, who embarrassingly showered with the belt on a sky segment and behaved like a world champion with the WBU belt on his shoulder.

 

think thats unfair. All WBU champs did it. Just self promotion.

 

Its conning the fans into thinking he was a genuine world champion.

Fans who do not know boxing in and out will not know the difference between the WBU and WBC. They will go to a fight expecting to see world class action and get area level.
