    Is this fight happening Frankie said on Facebook about two weeks ago he had a title fight in may in Birmingham but i aint heard who it is yet and as Lynes v Witter has been confirmed i presumed it was gonna be Purdy for the English title if not it must be some sort of wba/wbc/wbo international or intercontinental title

    I would have loved to have seen this fight. My local Colchester boy Lee Purdy vs one of my fav boxers. To be honest I think Frank would box his ears off. Don't think Purdy can deal with better boxers and Frank is about as good a boxer as you can find

    so what is actaully happening is he fighting in germany? and on what undercard groves? or is he fighting for the irish title lol

    his got a 10 rounder on the groves undercard no oppent named yet 5th may (i think).

    It looks like in Germany at the moment but I will know today after conference call with frank, I am ready to make the step up now no doubt,an I was meant to fight witter in final eliminator but had troubles an got two weeks notice also but now I think I should be next in line for the shot,purdy lost last time out for it brook an hatton won't fight for it so that leaves me IMO

    yeah thats true frankie but lee did bounce back with a good win againts Adan Amar and Denton Vassell is also up there and undefeated.

    I think its a good step up fight. He is strong and can punch but i think your skill is gonna be the decider, you should be able to outbox him to a ud or late stoppage if your on your game, then after that it coild be lynes as i would fancy him to outpoint witter.

    I would like to see them stick you in with hatton, thats a fight i see you winning easily and would put your name out there. I remember saying that you would beat hatton easily and people said you wouldnt, i cant see how you could lose that in a million years to be fair, i think purdy is a harder fight!

    At the moment i would favor Purdy, wouldn't be suprised if Frankie schooled him though.

    After seeing how clueless Purdy looked against a shot Colin Lynes you'd have to favour Frankie strongly here I think.
