It depends on what Gavin turns up

    A good Gavin beats Hatton

:rofl:rofl really brook ranked worlds no3 welterweight cleaned up domestically gavin still to challenge for a british title :nut
gavin would do well to try and get jennings, his scalp is better than the younger hatton imo

maybe once this fight doesn't get made Frankie will realise he has a **** team. Interesting Hatton doesn't seem to have any faith in his brother Wicky.

Its sink or swim for frankie. take away his name and amateur days and go purley of performances and career progression as a pro nobody would be talking about him.

so many excuses from the kid. hennesey won the witter purse bid for an eliminator. frankie said no as it was 3 weeks notice and he had more personal problems....darren hamilton won the british title at 4 days notice. thats a real fighter.

Frankie has promise but as a pro has shown me nothing to suggest hatton would be an easy night, Matthew could take this on workrate

If fight's were won just on natural talent then Frankie would walk it, bringing all the other factors into play like experience, workrate and toughness and I think Frankie's in for a tough nights work, I do think he will get the nod though in a close but clear fight.

hope this fights gets made, i'll be making good coin on gavin winning with ease!

hatton has overachieved in his career but lacks the speeds or power to beat gavin who im expecting to really kick on once he gets the actual fights put in front of him

    My thoughts exactly.

Hatton's workrate would cause Gavin HUGE problems.

Or it could leave himself open for crisp counters.

This is a good fight for you Frankie and a good performance could get you back in the big picture again. this is your fight to loose.

Step up for Gavin and would make a good fight I think! Certainly dont see it a walkover for either man good 50/50 fight, so it probably wont happen!

I dont see why people are moaning. Hatton's a good opponent for him, a huge step up compared to everyone else he has fought and a good gate keeper to world level to eventually get to the people like brook etc. If he wins he goes on to better things, if he doesn't you haters win and can tell him.... Fair play to a good match up (if made.)

I'd wager that this fight won't happen, there'll be a row about promotional issues and no doubt £££ too as always seems to be the case with the class of 2008.

I'd fancy cueball head to give Frankie a working over. He's not a world beater by any means but he's solid enough, scores 6/10 in most departments at the very least.... he just lacks that little bit extra to trouble really top operators.

Gavin was a stand out amateur but it's not happened yet for him in the pro ranks, if he did win this fight it'd be a huge step in the right direction.

Plus, it'll be a 'never been stopped' (barring a bull**** cut stoppage years ago) that has actually fought someone good.
