Why assume that he can? His longest fights havent been high tempo affairs, Gavin generally goes into cruise control rather than putting his foot on the accelerator.

Though I need to go back & re-watch some of Denton's earlier fights I remember being impressed by his fitness, he's not a fast starter but seems to grow stronger as the fight goes on.

I think he'll really push Gavin & despite being made to miss a fair bit will be landing the harder shots. I reckon he'll be too strong for Gavin & will take control in the 2nd half of the fight.

Still not convinced Gavin is a true Welter, Vassells natural size, strength and power will become a greater factor as the fight goes on.

    Vassell late stoppage.

I'm not assuming. Frankie hasn't really been uncomfortable in any of his fights. And the Woodhouse fight wasn't close, Gavin was in control - Curtis just made a good go of it and Gavin was knocking the **** out of him back the end.

Vassell looks tougher all round, but I just look at how Frankie put his opponent in his place every time he got ambitious. Against a threat, I think he'll make a statement.

All depends on how many times Gavin eats at Nandos before the fight.

What do you think the result will be:

    1 nando's p/w =
    2 nando's p/w =

And do we need to account for with and without skin? What about sides? Bottomless yoghurt versus diet coke?

Getting a bit technical for me DF but there's a lad on another thread who's an expert, can't remember his name at the moment :think

    Agreed.

Anything over 3 Nando's during his camp and it'll be a points victory for Gavin. No Nando's during the camp and he'll force a stoppage.

In no way an appalling stoppage.

Tough pick this and that's not slagging either off- I think both are tremendously talented. I'd say that Gavin certainly wouldn't stop Denton but he would more then likely outbox him. Vasell would make it difficult though.

Would have been a really sickening KO if Vassell had been allowed to land another shot, stoppage was spot on I reckon.

You need an AVI Nipp, do you want to use this?

this would be a good fight & it would be clearer how far Gavin can go. I do worry about Gavin's lack of punch power & he does seem abit small for the weight but i think his talent level would see him edge past Vassell. Would be great to watch. Also would love to see Kid Galahad v Jazza Dickens
