Horte was the French welterweight champion not too long ago. He has fought as high as Light Middle, and he has never been stopped. Speaking to Frankie not too long ago he said it was a 50-50 fight, but in reality anything other than a convincing win would seem to be disappointing IMO.

He summed it up perfectly on Slap's interview. He hasn't been boxing well, but he has hardly lost a round. That's a mark of the lads talent.

Frankie, with a new trainer, will impress early, out boxing the Frenchmen at will. Then, he'll step up the pressure to stop him late.

  3. He's never been stopped so Gavin will stop him.

    **** fight.

They'd be best just chucking Frankie in, sink or swim, and seeing what he really has. Dipping the toe in hasn't exactly got them anywhere.

It'll probably bring the best out of him.

Yep it's pretty pointless - no win situation for frankie really. That said would be good to see a return to form for him.

To be fair if Frankie is getting out again in December as is widely mooted then I ccant really have a problem with this. New trainers take getting used to, cant realistically expect him to be going into a huge fight straight off with Tibbs.

Win this, try a few new things out in a 'live' fight. then bigger test next time out.

I completely agree. He says he wants to he back out in December and again in Feb which is Frankie boxing 3 times in four months; good stuff. Bring on Purdey or Vassell by the middle of next year and it'll be perfect.

I think they want Frankie to get 12 rounds in at 147 before they put hmi back on the domestic circuit.
