Frankie Gavin vs Khan

I firmly believe if the fight was to happen in a year Gavin would beat Khan comfortably.

Frankie has Vassell to get out of the way first and then hopefully a Euro shot and maybe a few fights around that level.

Gavin is better than anyone domestically in my opinion and is only stagnating being under 'Alledgedly' (which is quite obvious to all). Given a couple of decent fringe world class opponents i'd say Gavin wood beat Brook handily and Khan too.

 

Khan leagues above...maybe in a few years time might be interesting but Gavin nowhere near ready to mix with the likes of khan

 

Mcloskey or hatton would be alright fights at this stage

 

I wouldnt like to see McCloskey fight anyone again least of all Gavin. That would be an awful clash of styles.

Gavin is a natural counter-puncher. McCloskey just doesnt like throwing punches. It would be only slightly better than watching a proposed McCloskey/Witter bout.

You do realise that Frankie is likely to be informed as to who his opponents may be? All Gavin said was he would take the Khan fight if he was offered! What's wrong with saying that? What was he supposed to say??

When Frankie and his "promoter" get his career moving, and Khan gets removed from the world title picture a Gavin-Khan fight is not an unreasonable prospect especially in 12-18 months!!

As for Khan, for all his speed he is too easily hit, and his lamentable punch resistance means I think you'd have every chance of beating him if the fight took place today!!

Mind you, I must say that if you're still with ******, that probably explains why your career appears to have stalled!!

vassel is the perfect fight for him at the moment as I rate vassel and this would be gavins biggest test by far

If he can win well , I am sure frank will get him into the world title mix. But he has to win well

 

I only care bout winning in this fight, its a tough fight technically vassell is poor, I have watched him a lot lately, but his game an loves being on top so gotta not let that happen..
