Sorry to mess people about Harrison just turned fight down so it's made now against mike Kelly guaranteed for Irish title
Stop toying with my emotions you Brummie biatch! On again, off again, on again! Torn loyalties now - Kelly is a good fella but not in your league. There are a couple of articles on Boxing-Ireland.com about the M-Kel v. F-Gav saga. http://boxing-ireland.com/20100717_michael_kelly_frankie_gavin_36.html
Michael Kelly is a former army amateur champion. Decent boxer but not enough power to worry Frankie. He'll take him a few rounds though.
Some details on Kelly's background are outlined in the article posted above but here is his BoxRec record as well. http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=242991&cat=boxer
ill probably be in the rotunda hospital on saturday expecting a baby :good i would have went and it is a good card , really wanted to see byrne fighting live
here is his fight with buzz grant a few months back in canada kelly is in white , i belive he only had 2/3 weeks notice for this fight [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QevyUyhdq48[/ame]
certainly not a high point of his career that Buzz Grant fight alright. A laboured effort would be a kind description, but yeah he only had a couple of weeks notice yadda yadda etc etc and so forth. No excuses this time - he's already been in camp in Belfast for over a week so should be in good shape for it. Odds are still stacked heavily in favour of Frankenstein though.
heard last night but was told to keep my trap shut! I'm Delighted for you, you better be using it to hold up your pants for the week after the fight :deal
His record will look pretty on yours. **** him big time. Make a statement. It's the belt you are after. Do what you usually do and that is come to fight. Keep throwing at this guy and hopefully you can put him to sleep. If you don't stop him with power, then stop him with attrition. Frankie, let Warren know that in your next fight you want Wright for the English title! You got the amateur pedigree and with 8 fights at pro, you are ready to step up.
