On the undercard of Alvarez vs Kirkland. Very interesting fight. Big test for frankie. Humberto, though way out of prime, is still very seasoned , packs a decent punch and is a good boxer. Frankie, a lot younger, stronger and agressive.

    Could be Frankie ko Humberto

Or we see a replication of Diaz vs jmm.

    Thoughts?

Golden boy must have a lot of confidence in him. Humberto is a huge step forward.

Yeah, but Humberto also seems to have the worst luck of any boxer. See Francisco Lorenzo DQ loss as an example...!!!

I'm a Soto's fan, but as long as they show all they have (I think both must do that if they want to reach top level fights) it will be a sure win for people watching regarless who ends victorious.

It wouldn't shock me in the least if Soto can somehow win a close decision, he may spoil a lot in the match, he may win out right, most probable outcome Gomez will ultimately win on the cards no matter what.

I can't see this going to the cards. If it goes to the cards, I feel Soto will win.

I felt the same way going into Molina Soto, Soto spoiled his way to a win and took Molina's best shots without going down, same thing could happen here. We don't know how good Gomez really is.

Gomez hits very hard and has a very sturdy chin i just don't see this going the distance.

I hope gomez trains properly for this fight he is a talented kid.

Soto at this stage of his career can still pose a stiff challenge for the outstanding prospect Gomez, but his age and being in a naturally bigger weight class will be too much for him in this case.. Gomez is the bigger man and will impose his strengths and youthful agression on the faded lion... i expect soto to test gomez but succumb to Gomez' agression and pin point accuracy down the stretch...Gomez is no Molina, and that will be evident early on in this fight.
