I think it was just a booger, you can't see it in this vid but the trainer was picking his nose and flicked it on Rich's shoulder by mistake, then he trys to wipe it off but misses. franklin was later killed by Silva and while on his back you can see the booger finally drop off. Kind of symbolic I'd say, **** brought a tear to my eye when seen live.
