I defnitely think Franklin's jiu-jitsu is too strong for Hamil. Franklin has a very good submissions game. He just doesn't focus on it.

Franklin has won almost half of his fights by submission. Not only is he good at submissions, he's great at escaping them as well (examples..Lutter and Okami).

Yeah I agree his BJJ is fairly strong hes a Brown Belt under his best freind so im assuming Jorge Gurgel doesnt just give him easy passes for being buddies. You gotta look at what hes done with his BJJ in MMA and its pretty good the man has 9 wins by submission and hes never been submitted I mean look Lutter,Shamrock others good submission guys had him in danger but Franklin has good escapes. He just has never needed to use them and when he did like vs Machida and Anderson he was never in a good enough postion. By no means is he a Dean Lister when its comes to grappling but Rich Franklin can hold his own and im 100 percent sure hes a million times better then Hamlin on the ground. I expect Rich to pull of a slick armbar or a brutal standup stoppage.

Whooooo! Whooooo! :) Hamil, as strong and as highly touted as he is, is very vulnerable to the armbar and triangle. He has the skill to take Franklin down, and he will fall right into a submission. He stands with Franklin and he's screwed. Bad matchup for Ham man.
