who knows? I think that Franklin is probably sitting there right now dreading a 3rd fight with Anderson. I am not interested in seeing a third one but keep in mind they were going to have a Randy and Chuck 4 right on the Germany card.
It wont matter what franklin learned against the muay thai defense cuz wanderlei silva uses his fist more than his muay thai these days. Franklin problem will be how he can take silva's punches. That dude got knockout power and franklin's chin is not that good.
Not really.. during wanderlei's prime anderson silva was nowhere near as good as he is today. Wanderei would have knock him out cold like he did against most of his opponents back then.
I was more talking about a prime Anderson Silva That would have been a WAR like Rampage-Wanderlei 2 (probably my greatest fight of all time IMO)
That would have been a good fight but i would still have to go with wanderlei. He is a much better striker and much stronger than anderson. I just dont think he can take wanderlei's punches. sakuraba one of the best got KO by silva. I see anderson getting knockout just like that if they would have fought. This content is protected
This is the best move for Rich to make. The only advantage Wanderlei really has over Franklin at this point is his brutal Thai Clinch ability. What better guy to prepare for that with then Anderson Silva ? Franklins clinch game isnt bad he just isnt in the league of the Silvas but hopefully for him he can learn a few things. Either way im pumped for this fight Franklin rarely has dull fights and something always happens in a Wandy fight.
