How big is bellend road stadium?
If it's 3,000 then Frank might sell out.

This is a BT backed showcase BN would have put this on at Elephant & Castle! It’s not a stadium fight but good luck to them for trying to hype it up to be. Unless the undercard is amazing this is looking like an own goal....Put Fury on undercard then opinions may change and it might be the plan.

That’s the only out for me. Put fury on and you might get 10-15k there.

This is nonsense and I know you are aware of that as when you want to be you can be a fair and realistic poster. Warrington has continued doing about 10k to fight the likes of Ceylan etc in the arena.

This is a far bigger fight and the Leeds nutcases will love the idea of a pisss and punch up with the Welsh nutcases. I know Selby is from Barry but all Frank has to do is stick Liam Williams on the undercard to rope in even more Cardiff nutters.

This will comfortably do a minimum of 20k.

No, depends on his opponent and the undercard.

This is a genuine question and not a sarcastic post. Has he been selling out the arena when he’s been fighting there? I genuinely don’t know. Anyone?

Using Kell Brook as a reference point. Much bigger profile than Warrington especially on the back of a “heroic” performance against one of the biggest stars in the sport. This was a homecoming for their world champion against one of the top up and comers from the states and “only” 20k ish turned out.

I can’t have Warrington is a bigger star than Brook. It all depends on the draw of the Leeds United crowd I suppose.

I think pricing is also key. Low ticket prices and he will get more people in.

Afaik lufc are part of the promotion now...theyve done a deal with frank.
Leeds pushing this fight onto the million plus, fans they have on there database has the potential to sell out.

Frank is old old school, and people should not interpret that as he is an old fool.

Make no mistake, he knows exactly what he is doing.

He has seen it all before and always comes through, he has his struggles but always comes back and you can't knock that.

You don't stay in this game as long as him without the know how or know who, that is what makes him so successful.

MR you are dealing with bottom line merchants, net/gross capitalise etc etc...

Frank does get slaughter and some times rightly so sometimes unfairly yes pr marketing fighters and using media he is bit old school and should be getting help to promote better,by should also put adverts on constant during breaks of football or when at Bottom screen during analyss etc,all in all want him do well same as matchroom as it means more competitive fights if both doing well rather than complete mismatches for a full card the more boxing the better.

BT should help with the adverts and Frank should be doing billboards in London if it’s at the copperbox, in Manchester if the fight is up there, Leeds if it’s there etc.

Embarrassing, announcing a venue for a fight like this and claiming it's a "big announcement" just shows how far FW is behind Hearn.

    Its Selby and Warrington ffs

True mate he is way behind hearn in that sense but Warrington sells alot tickets on his own if they put decent undercsrd on guys like Williams ohara dubois yarde and if get fury tune up they should do well. Think someone said earlier Leeds trying there part too in promotion wonder if could get degale traux rematch on card also. As a fan of boxing i dont care venue etc just want see good quality cards competition can only be healthy and benefit us the fans
