The main event will be a great fight with a great venue and amazing atmosphere. It's a shame that such a top fight will be let down by lack of advertising and probably a very poor undercard

 

What are you basing your theory on the poor undercard?
Do you not think BT sport are going to be heavily backing the event also?

Finally, Frank has done a deal with Leeds themselves to push the event.

Based on your unfounded negativity, I can only assume that you are more hoping the event is unsuccessful.

 

MR where unable to put his fight together when they had both fighters...remember it was Hearns plan for this a long time ago.

Frank Has just got involved with both in under a year and excecuted it.

Franks also beaten them to Frampton who Hearn made clear that he wanted.

Guys this fight will sell Elland road out quite easy, Warrington is a ticket seller & the people of Leeds get behind their own, whether you like them or not they will turn up for a world title fight against a fellow Brit.

Yes he has been selling it out and against low teir opposition.

 

Ok well fair enough. If you’re selling 13.5k out in an arena against low level opposition I’m sure he can expect 20-25k for a world title fight comfortable.

 

Who do you think he can put on the undercard? Most of his big name fighters are on the April bill so I can only imagine mis match fights.
I can imagine Elland Road selling out due to Warrington's popularity but going on previous occasions I don't think they will hype it up like Hearn/Sky do and I feel this top fight deserves hyping up.
And to answer your question, I am hoping I am completely wrong and this is a massive success as I'm planning on going to the event so bigger the undercard the better.

Ali - Smith is chief support to Canelo Golovkin. So no remote chance of that.

Liam Williams is a good shout though, he will be due back.

Dubois / Yarde will definitly be on April 14th card so can’t see them out again a month later.
