Franks plans up in smoke?

    Apparantly (according to the scene), JMM is lining up to fight juan diaz for the WBO/WBA lightweight titles in July in a rematch. Would this be seen as a problem for Frank Warren in terms of Mitchel/Katsidis not being for a proper world title? Does Upton Park seem a bit more far fetched now? I presumed that they were expecting JMM to vacate the title?

    I'm sure he can arrange for it to be for the Interim Regular WBA Inter-Continental Title.

    JMM is all about the money, Provided Kevin beats Katsidis which I think he will it'll be JMM next I would think...:good

    I wouldn't be surprised 1 bit if JMM vacated and just fought Diaz for 1 title?? Less sanctioning fees to pay in a big money fight...;)

    am a big jmm fan but i dont see him v diaz as a big fight diaz has lost his last 3 fights hopefully this is a goodbye fight for marquez

    I think that's a big possibility. I think the winner of Mitchell/Katsidis will end up with the full WBO title without fight JMM.

    a great fight is a great fight, but its a hell of lot easier to market to the masses as a world title fight...
