Wow love Carl Frampton but this is poor, why do boxers need to pay big bucks for advisors surely they and there team know the game by now and who they want to fight.

And Quigg is the one that takes easy fights? Pretty poor from Frampton and his team considering how talented he is, has much more natural ability than Quigg and really should be taking on at very least the gatekeepers of the division, not what is a very poor opponent.

One poor fight? Its hardly like he has been fighting the best is it? One good win on his record, that's it. This is not a defence of Quigg either as his competition has been poor and till now has been slightly worse than Framptons. However this is an insult, this fight is terrible, the difference is though that Quigg has actually chased the big fights, Frampton and Santa Cruz, which is a lot more than can be said for Frampton

Yes Povetkin did. He made a number defences and waved the thing around after every fight.

Quigg acknowledges the worth of his belt. He's never claimed he's a world champ like Carl so thats bull. He takes the pi.ss calling it chip paper all the time.

And Framptons strap is made out of the same paper at the end of the day. He holds just a portion he won from the weakest link. His best win most likely soon to be Quiggs best win.

It's only a matter of time before Haymon introduces his own PBC titles.

Carls 20 pro fights have been of a very high standard, Qugg has over 30 and his resume is clearly worse, not slightly

this fight however, is ****ing awful

"The weakest link" who is about to become Quiggs best win?

Or you could see it like this, they fancy Kiko to beat Quigg and therefore Framptons stock goes up massively in one night while he makes mincemeat of this poor mexican kid in a few rounds

Cobrita Gonzalez is better than LSC's or Quigg's last few defenses.

He's the one that exposed Hanzel Martinez (then an unbeaten prospect, Margarito's nephew) and has a good win over Cayetano as well. His only loss to Rosas via TD.

    Hardly a bum.

As a huge Frampton fan this fight just doesn't make sense. Surely they should be cashing in on the Irish market and have the fight in NY, Boston or Philadelphia. Instead he's fighting in the middle of nowhere against an opponent nobody has heard of and the whole situation with Quigg fighting Kiko really does make it seem that Frampton is avoiding him and is playing into the hands of Hearn by painting Frampton/McGuigans out as the villains.

I really like Frampton, because I believe he's one of the few British fighters of whom their hype is warranted. But while his natural foe is finally stepping up in his next fight, he's going backwards and that's complete and utter bull.

There's no need for him to fight some bumbasher with a fabricated ranking, because he has passed that station years ago. :conf
