Strange one I have to admit. I think they've been messing around with the Quigg negotiations and now they need s quick opponent to get him out this summer. However I'm sure they could have got someone better for his first fight in America. Grab the U.S. fans, endow silly to kick up the Quigg negotiations. And I don't understand why it's not in New York to get Irish population as well as the Americans. Let's face it, if he's going to crack America then New York is where it'll be. This could be s great fight and a great opportunity but it seems they've not taken advantage of anything. Very weird to say how big he could be and he's just signed with Haymon Oh well..... At least he's fighting
but he does have a belt ?! i dont see that belt as a world title like most but he does srill hold it.
Obviously a fight to espose him the general US public, why r ppl reading so mcuh into this? he will be fighting the winner of LCS Mares after
Just to clear things up. Scott Quigg is the WBA champion. To become recognised as world (super) champion by the WBA he has to unify it with another big 4 organisation's belt. At the moment his belt means he is the WBA champion. Nothing more but still a considerable achievement and world level recognition (step up from euro or commonwealth)
This is all good exposure for Frampton in the states. It's obviously setting up a bigger fight for the end of the year. Can we keep Quigg out of Frampton threads? A journey man KO'd Quigg's last opponent in 3 rounds that Quigg went the distance with
I just don't understand your point. If the belt is worthless then if nothing else it's a tool to generate income. If your point is that quigg isn't the champ because rigo is the super champ then that means all the other belts in the division are also worthless. Plus it's kind of like saying if your not the super champ you may aswel not bother
Anyway stop rattling on about quiggs belt I'm trying to savour the moment that is frampton fighting a nobody after turning down 1.5 million to fight someone he was "confident" of flattening
